Our patterns have been designed with the vision of sharks as the starting point and come in Base Camouflage of Grey, Blue and Green. Made of thermally and more flexible limestone neoprene with colours and thicknesses adjusted for locations. Temperate, tropical or southern waters for use by surfers, surf photographers and spearfishers.

THE RESEARCH

For the past year we have run a Survey Monkey SURFGirl 2020 survey to gain information on the fit, function and how girls wetsuits could be improved. The results were both candid and highly informative. We found that even female orientated brands don’t take into account the the true shape of girls in a way that is functional and stylish. Our female designer has used the survey to create a new type of girls wetsuit that does.

THE MATERIAL

Oil based or Limestone? Neoprene is a basically synthetic rubber made by chemical reactions using chloroprene to make chips that can be foamed or aerated with other chemicals added then baked to form sheets. Its covered with a protective low resistance fabric give strength to resist tearing. The chemicals used are petroleum based where as limestone neoprene uses calcium carbonate derived from limestone to add to the chloroprene so is more sustainable and has a lot of other advantages as well.

BE ONE WITH THE WATER

Where sharks are a risk our goal is to reduce attacks by avoiding contact and not being noticed by using camouflage that's tuned to a sharks vision to reduce the chance of the random encounter that leads to an attack.
